Of course it being April Fool's the web is covered in fake news stories. Yet some actual news has been put by some reputable news outlets. It looks like that Buffy creator Joss Whedon could be one of the possible directors for Avengers. Joss is so respected in the fanboy world even his original television projects have massive followings. Not to mention his work writing for X-Men and other comics. I'm ll for Whedon writing or even consulting but I'm not sure he's directed enough large "films" to allow him to get the gig. Then again I never thought Jon Favreau would ever make Iron Man.
