We've previously heard Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) could be in mind for the job. Now Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Sony and producers have met with Webb to helm the Spider-Man reboot. The production could happen sometime this year with a possible summer 2012 release and it might be shot in 3D.
