Favorite Foreign Flicks: Black Book

Paul Verhoeven's Black Book is one of the greatest WWII action thrillers ever made. Verhoeven (Robocop, Total Recall) is one of the best action directors out there. The film focuses on a Jewish girl who is given a second identity by the Dutch resistance during the Nazi occupation of Holland. Carice van Houten's performance itself is worth a watch, not to mention the amazing action scenes.
